Below is a recent project to hide the TV and accessories in the wall.
The TV was originally in the stairs alcove, on a cabinet.
We hung the TV on the wall in the odd shaped void, centrally, taking into account there was going to be a unit built to the left, under the remaining stair treads.
Building a stud wall, the depth of the TV and bracket to encapsulate the TV.
A fully articulating bracket was used to allow the TV to be viewed from alternative seating position (images to follow)
A cable void was installed along with additional sockets to allow for the AV equipment to be powered.
We built a floating AV shelf to house the additional equipment. All the cabling wont be visible upon completion.
TV hung in void, awaiting understairs unit, plastering and decoration.
Nicely plastered, decorated and new carpet to top off this lovely installation.
